Who is responsible
Codentra, based in Sweden, is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, email info@codentra.se.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional) and your message.
- Emails you send us: your email address and whatever you choose to include.
- Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, as needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Usage statistics: anonymous, aggregated page-view statistics via Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
- Advertising measurement (only with your consent): Google Ads cookies that link a visit to an advert click. See our cookie policy.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- Replying to your enquiry and preparing a proposal: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Running and securing the website: our legitimate interest in a working, secure site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Measuring advertising: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time in cookie settings.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:
- Vercel — website hosting and anonymous analytics.
- Resend — delivers contact-form messages to our inbox.
- Google — advertising measurement, only if you accept marketing cookies.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 12 months of our last contact. If we work together, correspondence is kept for as long as the engagement lasts and afterwards as required by Swedish accounting law. Advertising cookies expire after 90 days and your cookie choice after one year.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@codentra.se and we will respond within one month.
If you think we have handled your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date above.
